Year 11 Prom Night

We seem to say this of all the Proms we’ve had since the very first one but on a personal note this one surely ranks as one of the best. The girls looked absolutely stunning in a host of wonderful dresses and gowns, while the boys were not to be outdone in their suits and dinner jackets. Every single student made a really wonderful effort on the night, and they certainly looked the part. It gives all the teachers and other staff who come to the Prom great pleasure to see Year 11 students at their finest, and this year was certainly no different.

Students danced and sang their way through till midnight, and there were various awards and speeches made. There was a poignant powerpoint presentation created by a group of year 11 girls which made us all reflect on the years past. As always, the Prom provides one last chance to spend time together as a whole year group before the limos and cars return to whisk them all away.
